The Client
Secret for Weight Loss is a national weight loss network that has expanded to over 30 states in more than 70 cities. Built around an all-natural weight loss program paired with hands-on coaching, Secret for Weight Loss has impacted more than 40,000 lives who have shed over 1,000,000 pounds in the last three years.
The Charge
Secret for Weight Loss was started by a physician who envisioned creating a safe and natural weight loss program that could reach as many people as possible and help them achieve their weight loss goals. This would be achieved by partnering with individual doctors and weight loss coaches in markets across the nation. Secret for Weight Loss reached out to Shull Media Partners to be its preferred media buying partner for all locations and clients that are part of the Secret for Weight Loss umbrella. Shull Media Partners would be responsible for lead generation for all clients through a mix of different media including radio, television, digital and more.
The Deliverables
Due to the demographic population targeted for these clinics and SMP’s extensive background in radio broadcast marketing, we built most campaigns around a centerpiece of radio DJ endorsements across an array of formats. In pursuit of peak performance, SMP also provides data analysis of campaign performance and ad spend optimization to ensure we are managing clients’ advertising budgets well. Our creative team also provides script writing and audio-visual content as we develop a cohesive media strategy across markets. Because of Shull Media Partner’s positive connection and national partnerships with iHeart Media, Audacy, and Cumulus Media, we are able to secure effective DJ endorsements in all markets, secure ideal broadcast slots, and negotiate significantly lower rates than competitors.
The Results
Over the course of the past three years, Secret for Weight Loss has grown to over 50 clinics across the country, serving over 40,000 patients during their weight loss journey. Shull Media Partners has conducted market research on each of these individual markets and has built marketing campaigns for each clinic focused firstly on radio broadcasting before expanding into additional media arms like television and digital campaigns. We have seen clinics experience significant growth and success over this time period. As the relationship between SMP and these national media partners continues to thrive, it has afforded more access to research and resources as both Secret for Weight Loss and SMP continue to grow, resulting in accolades including Shull Media Partners being named a Cornerstone Agency of iHeart Media.
